Rising food prices were a central part of what generated the arab spring. I think we need be thinking about what we can do to increase the availability of commodities. If i was in the whitehouse, i would be launching a full review of agricultural policies with a view to maximizing the output of agricultural commodities. And especially those supply chains that run through china, which i think happens to be quite ted with really, russian aggression.
