Momo, Is It a Moment of Clarity?
Momo: I feel very lucky to have been brought up vegetarian by my parents. When I was speaking to a friend who was trying out veganism just out of curiosity, we were actually randomly on a plane to Vegas. And it was almost as if I had this surreal experience where I just zoomed into the experience of where that butter came from and I felt everything in my body that those cows had endured for me to get that butter. So yeah, that was the way, to be honest. From vegetarian, having this moment of clarity and realization, and then just going full force into it.
