I'm super supportive in the direction that swift is going. And i really think they make the right decisions to make the programmin link wich simpler, better at the same time. Just because you don't have a use case for one of these features doesn't mean that the features shouldn't exist. I think a lot of these features also ennable better api design. They also enable a certain degree of kind of consistency within a given framework orapi. So if we take property wrappers, again, as an example, like if you just start looking at swift u i code and you see all this at state, at binding and so on, it might initially seem really confusing.
