The Origins of Judge Paul's Dilemma

Two of Paul's former colleagues in the Greater Asia Society testified on his behalf at the trial as character witnesses. Both were also friendly with another former Greater Asia Society member Tanaka Masahaki, who was the first to publish Paul's descent in Japanese. He cut about two-thirds of the original text and added his own forward.
