I actually do something similar, and i have a two hour balk too, also in the mornings, and i find it incredibly useful for me. It's just af everyone thinks differe ly, and everyone's wire differently. My wiring is all internal. I'm somewhat gifted with a memory that's insane. And i literally remember numbers that people will tell me, and and i can give it back to them three weeks later,. Three months later, i an tell them exactly what the number was. But i've tried other techniques that people have told me, journalling, white boarding and all those other kinds of things, it all stays up top.
