Domestication of Cassawaries in the Northern Hemisphere

People were managing the breeding of cassawaries that long ago. We don't have evidence that casswaris were domesticated, but we do have evidence that they are managing caswarry populations. People may also have been hatching those eggs within days of their natural hatching time and hatching them to be able to raise the casuary chicks. This is a long, long, long time before we have the first evidence of domestication of chickens in the northern hemisphere.
