The Task of Being a Self

Being a self is in my mind something I don't think it's a total social construct. that takes place over time so I do think the way it works with humans is in our social interactions at some fundamental level we see others as single beings single selves throughout their whole human life. The unity comes from the biological and social constraints put on us that interact but that it's a funny kind of unity because subjectively and in our actions we're always having to try to sort it out and turn it into a coherent story.
