The Social Security Trust Fund is in its last 10 years or less of being funded. That means we're going to have automatic decline in funding and payments to Social Security recipients. President Trump has not helped with entitlements, then he gets covered by Democrats who want to touch them. At the end of the day, your job as president or as a congressional leader is to get reelected. It's very difficult to take things away from the general population and say please support me and vote for me.
