How do you decide which books to talk about? It's an excerpt, a pretty short excerpt. We usually went to them and said, is there a passage that was particularly hard to write, or particularly, you know, strange in some way to write? And in every instance, they, the writers we approach, had a section that they wanted to talk about - so we didn't have to say, hey, what about this particular section?
