The Evolution of Language in Interface Design

The world of interface design is full of words that used to mean something else when they were coined by some researcher in the 1970s and now they've been sort of misappropriated. I think it's important, especially for new designers just entering the field trying to figure things out can be a little confusing if they aren't using the proper terms. As long as we produce good interfaces, I guess it doesn't matter, right? Call it whatever you want.
