Rumours of cannibalism, heads kept in freezes and hand-feeding victims to crocodiles. Amine's purported antics seem more in keeping with a baddie in a black-spoitation movie or the Bonne villain from Live and Let Die. His western detractors assigned him an image from the get-go that of the African savage. But whereas once Amine laughed it off, now he's taking it personally. The president is fast becoming a figure of macabre fun. And he's an eagle maniac. Someone who most definitely reads his own reviews.
