Do You Know What You're Going to Face?
Some important spiritual traditions already held the belief that for beginners we cannot tell them all that they are going to encounter on the path. Like in shamanism, Don Huwa was Castaneda's master. And he told very explicitly to Castaneda, don't tell your students what they're going to face when they start doing inner work. But Dante has some aside to the reader in the Divine Comedy, especially in purgatory where he says, like, don't get afraid of how hard this is. So I think on the one hand we need to warn people, like it's not all rainbows and butterflies and flowers. It's just the rewards may not be what you think
