The Importance of Impaling

He sneaks into the, uh, the Ottoman encampment by himself and tries to assassinate Sultan Mehmet. He fails but he managed to escape all the same because again he could speak Turkish. Before leaving Targovista once and for all, he impales it. The Ottomans were pretty messed up by this horrific bloodshed that they'd seen. And as a result, they kind of lost their taste for war after that.
