The Role of Mary in Medieval Ideography

Protestants sometimes venerate or hold up as examples and then maybe at least look like to the outside that we give special status to that person. It's interesting when we see some medieval depictions of Jesus as suffering, he often has feminine traits. And I would consider this to be Adiaphora. That is something about which we can disagree and still be brothers and sisters in Christ.
