I think maybe there's a wider scope of people not really wanting to hear this because it's confronting and sad and heartbreaking. therapy is often enclosed doors and private, it's very privatized. There's something in being able to maybe publicize it to a degree, so these stories are witnessed wider. I consider myself extremely lucky and extremely privileged and for me I have a responsibility then to do something with that," she says.
