The Transition to Computer Vision

I enjoyed it enough to want to go to grad school and pursue this in grad school. And then the transition to computer vision happened about in the first year of when I started my PhD, where I was working on a patent recognition or machine learning problems for intrusion detection in computer networks. But then I had colleagues around me who were working on images with computer vision, and they could sort of visually see the output of the things that they were working on,. And I think that's where the draw came from. That's what I've been doing all these years since.
