The City of San Francisco Subsidized the A's Stadium
The A's stadium, the billion dollar stadium that was to be built on the San Francisco Bay was privately financed and that was never a question. The question was good for the mule. Who was going to fund the improvement to the neighborhood around it? So basically the city council approved a plan that the A's didn't want which led to the thing that became official this week.
