The Fed's Hiking Cycle Continues
The Federal Reserve has paused hiking rates after 15 months of tightening. The move is being viewed as a hawkish hold with Fed Chief Jerome Powell warning he expects more raised increases will be needed. Unlike the Fed, the European Central Bank is expected to continue hiking rates when it gives its policy decision today.
