We're Expecting Inflation to Peak
Inflation means that things are getting more expensive right across the board. We're expecting inflation to peak as the cost of increased energy prices flows through the system. I'm absolutely committed to delivering great public services for people. That is very, very important. But that's not the same as saying that you'll make sure departments have enough money to combat inflation.
