The Airline's IT Error Made It Hard to Book Flights
A hitch with Anna's booking system saw it sell tickets worth $10,000 at just a fraction of that price. The carrier confirmed the mistake was due to an error in currency conversion on its Vietnam website. Some lucky flyers have been able to make use of their cut price tickets because they actually flew before the airline decided to cancel the error fairs. But for the rest of them, it's a case of too good to be true. Airline told us yesterday it's going to cancel and refund the bookings that were issued with incorrect pricing. It had initially indicated it would honor the tickets but I guess it was more of a hit than they really wanted to take right now.
