The Importance of Emotional Thinking in UX

UX designers use a balance of scientific thinking and emotional thinking. We have to break down our personal biases and really be very empathetic. It's easy to communicate scientific value, it's a little harder to translate. How do you put a price on that? Well I'm a really nice guy who gets other people. What do you think?
