The Pros and Cons of Trumpism

In the typically unhinged Trump style response to the news of the indictment, we saw lots of references to George Soros. He mentioned the name Soros twice as a way of deriding the district attorney who has brought these charges or who led the grand jury to bring these charges. These are wild conspiracy theories, and they used to be sort of something you would, you know, the base was talking about it in the Republican party but you wouldn't bring it up. But now the top two people running for president on the right are invoking him as a way to stir up that side of the base.
