If we drew a map of food shortages around the world, what would that look like? So the global areas of that are most vulnerable to food securitys and less access to diverse food. Sub saharin africa, southern asia, central and south america, small island developing states and the arctic. But because of the increased evidence for extreme events having the potential to have dramatic reductions in local food production in a given region. There is a risk of food security in impacts in other regions of the world as well.
