The Importance of a Performance Budget
The goal was three second. Regardless of what Google was saying, I'm saying as an organization, maybe we are already at 10 second and trying to go to one second doesn't make sense. But can we get to three seconds? Right. And then when you have this performance budget, so we have the JavaScript size. So people are talking about bundle size, but I call it budget,. You know, you have to have this budget.And B is for budget. So JS size, image size, CSS size, your FIB, your TTI and your FCP. This is my performance budget. It's a work in progress. We have to make everything optimized on our website
