Are You Paying Yourself First?
If you really want to become that full time author, then you need to take yourself seriously. One of the signs that somebody is going to comet out of this phase and into the next one is that they begin to pay themselves first. And i think writers are very slow to do that. I mean, i'm so surprised that how many authors don't even have a separate bank account for their business. But as you move up, it's more like your learning the deeper aspect of all o these things, and the pennies are dropping on that stuff.
