Patriotism Is a Common Object of Love of the Nation
The crown doesn't represent- it's not something like the declaration of independence that declares this great ideological virtue to the nation, some sort of universal statement of what human society should be. Patriotism is about those peculiarities, those quirks that make your country your country rather than someone else's country. And you love your country for that. You don't presume that our country- Our country. That it's best is a common object of love of the nation and it's the eccentricity and peculiarity of the crown that makes it fitting for that.
