The Social Credit System Is Getting Better

I've been reading that the way to think of the last 10 years or so is that China has become more authoritarian in important ways. We've heard about its surveillance of the population. There's a social credit system where you're tracked and your behavior is rated in vast databases. And someone I know went to China and their colleague was there and they jay walked and they got an instant find on their phone through one of these apps That tracks you and that has access to you. The party has definitely gotten better at actively influencing.
