The Battle of Sir Gus Strait

This battle takes place on the night of 24, 25 October. The Japanese have only seven ships and the Americans have an array of ships,. Six battleships, more than a dozen cruisers heavy and light and 25 or so destroyers. They hit both battleships and one sinks due to torpedo damage. And this is when the last battleship engagement of history takes place. 6 American battleships facing one Japanese battleship at the head of Surya-Goth Strait in 1944. Eventually only one destroyer of the seven ships survived.
