I'm fine with the $1 one-vote system deciding whether it's this iPhone or someone else's Samsung phone that rises to the top of the marketplace, but I'm not fine. That's my philosophical core. But even if you did believe that capital owners ought to settle those questions as capital owners, qua capital owners, if you will, that's not even what's happening today in the intermediated marketplace. It is really just the invisible fist of government acting through the avatar of these so-called market actors that aren't market actors at all,. They're just stooges of the state that's hiding behind the scene.
