The Importance of Mumbles

The animation community has always hated mocap films. Savvy and Glover did some great tap dance and like we mapped that onto the penguin. It's interesting that the idea of him is an outcast, right? Because penguins can only have one kid. Right. But the idea of like this was our shot at an offspring, our heart songs that united. I let him roll out of his way. The movie frames it as though his feet are almost framed as a disability. And then it gets dropped very quickly after that.
