Is There a Difference Between Chinese and Islamic Philosophy?

When i was editing the philosopher's magazine we did try sometimes to have some articleso things like chinese r islamic philosophy, but were always wen fine. But rather belatedly, i began to kind of question whether this was right. I've thought, ok, whether it's philosophy as we know it or not, surely there must be a great deal which is of interest in some of these other traditions. And one reason for that was, i think it's not very helpful if you just read, confucius said this, avicena said that,. It doesn't really get you into the different ways of think.
