i'm curious, mich, what are some of the commonalities among those people who sustain excellence? If i were to focus on a single trait, it would probably be humility. Excellence has measured not how much money you earn or how famous you are, but your contributions to the world. In all of those cases, i've met people who are excellent, who have mass of egoes and and and are bullies.
