Is There a Cree in a Tree?
Lacan's definition of sadism is really, really radical and completely cuts against what we usually think. Freud himself flipped like his before 1920, he thought all masochism was just inverted primary sadism; Lacan still in that post 1920 way of thinking. For any of the Cree, you have to already know everything that Lacan thinks before you can make sense of what he's, what he's doing. I don't think there are that many that are valuable.
