i was definitely conscious of the fact that my mother worked and in the 1970s basically nobody worked apart from black women so i couldn't kind of remember going to school like my first week and thinking why is everybody going home for school lunch. My mum would always say to me to my brother look after your sister and i used to say but why aren't you asking me to look after my brother he's helped a more trouble than i am, she said. I think being the the gender thing was probably more interesting than you made me think julies and probably more apparent at home runnich because of my mother's up brains they it was things like SharonMy parents grew up
