I think the most important thing in terms of practice that they have to do is passive and active listening to the language every single day. Mastering maybe 15 to 20 irregular verbs, because they are arguably more than 5, 600 or more. And so when you narrow down your focus, that makes the motivation a bit easier. There are so many things I don't know, or people's worry about their accent but I would say that you break it down into small parts.
