How to Fix a Bug in a Release

Every observable thing about software is going to be dependent on by someone. How long has it been that way? How many people have been using it and relying on it? We just said like, no, this is the way it is now, which is something I also learned that's not always the best approach. It was mostly pretty badly handled in my opinion looking back at it.
