Pay can be low for legal services lawyers. The bigger problem, actually, is the debt burden that lawyers graduate with. Many students would love to join the legal aid bureau after graduation,. But because of the cost of education now, it becomes prohibitive. There are some loan repayment programs different law schools and at the federal government level That give people more flexibility to pursue these sorts of jobs but it needs to be much more widespread.
