In the late 1990s, Peter Wagner and his cohort of prophets came to believe that there was a major territorial spirit called the Queen of Heaven. They believed if they could dethrone her, Christianity would spread rapidly into Central Asia. In 1997, Wagner helped organize a team of 26 prophetic intercessors to go to Mount Everest for three weeks in 1997. One of the members of the team almost died of a cerebral edema.
