Suvi: I think there's inherent complexity to plot. And maybe when a book is bad at plot, it isn't paying homage to that. Like once something like that happens, maybe part of the creative process afterwards for a writer who's trying to be good at plot is to make sure to slow down and really deeply consider all these previous choices and their impacts.
