Evergrand, the Chinese Property Developer, Is on the Brink of Collapse
Evergrand is the chinese property developer that's on the brink of collapse. The company, of course, has over 300 billion dollars in debt. They're desperately trying to find capital to ah meet the huge number of interest payments going its way. And earlier in the month, they actually entered into talks with a smaller property developer called a hopson development. It would allow them to stay solveent, stay alive for a little bit longer,. so that they can find some more money. We'll just have to kind of see if it actually plays out.
