Is There Such a Thing as Unity at the Cell?

I was just wondering if people generally speaking and even the philosophers themselves or people perhaps think a little bit more about these kinds of questions. Do we really need to have that sort of coherence for us to function properly psychologically speaking? I'm not sure if what I'm saying makes sense or not. There are obviously conflicts that are deep and disturbing for people right they're like fundamental you know I'm thinking of leaving the religion that has been the center of my life.
