John McFarle was born in the south of the UK in 1981. He suffered a motorbike accident that resulted in the amputation of his right leg. John has gone on to win many Paralympic medals including 100m bronze and 200m gold. The European Space Agency are looking at whether someone with a physical disability can do meaningful work in space. In late 2022 that one will be announced as John McFarle. Mike Miller Smith is CEO of AirAbility, an aviation charity for disabled people. Parability exists to make aviation accessible to people with disabilities. It's about making the sky accessible to disabled people for fun, for travel and maybe even for a job.
