Why Did I Drop Out of a PhD Programme in Statistics?

After dropping out of his graduate programme, Gregg decided he wanted to be a cop. He was told by an army recruiter that if he went into the army it would help him become a police officer in six years. But after boot camp and being sent back to college for more training, he became a high school teacher instead. Now working as a quantitative psychologist at University of New York's School of Social Sciences. His brother has made a comment about him: 'If you want to be a detective your got to have a college degree'
