The Importance of Working From Photographs

"I have only done one master study from in a museum in my whole life. And I recorded that vlog and even then we only had like an hour to do that drawing," he says. "You can get really good by doing master studies from photographs, but it's not such a big disadvantage that you're not." He adds: "One of the great secrets of technique is to romance it...to enjoy it"
