The Incarnation of Mary and Christ

Thomas doesn't normally speak about the merits of the incarnation that are enjoyed before the historical moment. But it's precisely the sinlessness of Mary, which is properly putting the palm fronds on the street while Christ is coming into Jerusalem on an ass. It's a part of the fittingness of the later event and so there's a way in which they have to be seen constantly in light of one another.
