I think the greater fear is that, ah, people who would at least believe that they have supported me without asking for a quid procro in the past would get upset. And i recognize i can't take responsibility for everyone else's feelings and responses to things. So it's not a financial concern much as a social cost. Well and fall out, if that makes sense. What i'm hearing is a fear of disappointing someone who matters to you? Ye ye. That woull be a piece of it. There'll be an implicit internal exitential threat. In some cases, i can't actually really dislike interacting with some of these more recent acquaintances. But for whatever reason,
