Bion's Frustration in a Military Setting

Do you think Bion had a certain expectation that groups could function effectively or efficiently? And in a high stakes military situation, everybody in the tank is really invested in the group working. But of course, in our low stakes classrooms, or reading groups, or occupied Wall Street cells, there's a lot of energy pulling away from getting the tasks done. So I feel like I can't overstate the extent to which, for at least like the first half of this book, at least I feel like, is this man trolling me? Do you know what I mean?
