The Game of Governance Is Like a Test Ricketor
The game of politics is like tmenty cricket. Its a short term game where politicians constantly have the imperative of the next election upon them. And, you know, even when a general election ir just over, it doesn't mean the next election is five years away. So i think at a philosophical level, that is a circle that needs to be squared. At a practical level, it then strikes me that isn't, the erosion of institutions over the long run, al is inevitable because of what we've seen in modern times.
