The Idea of Smuggling Theology

The idea of smuggling theology is an idea that kind of comes up later in the Narnia books. Lewis said that all of his works began with pictures, and so he had pictures in his head of what these things might look like. So when you write a supposal, it's not like you're trying to write in Christianity. But Christianity comes into the stories because Christianity was inside of Lewis. He's just writing using his baptized imagination.
