In the March issue of Harpers, you have an essay out called Frog that's about your immortal frog, a monkey. I wanted to write this essay about our near-emotional but in fact ultimately mortal when he was 16 or 17 a frog and it's called frog. What happens to the pets that happen to you? So it's about how we loved our dog and we loved our guinea pigs and our hamster but the pet that lasted the longest was one that had kind of accidentally joined the family.
